Biometric categorisation system

Art. 3(40)Art. 5(1)(g)

A biometric categorisation system is an AI system intended to assign natural persons to specific categories such as sex, age, hair colour, eye colour, tattoos, ethnic origin or sexual and political orientation. Categorisation based on biometric data to infer race, political opinions or sexual orientation is prohibited.
