Human oversight

Art. 14Art. 26(2)

Human oversight constitutes a fundamental requirement for high-risk AI systems. It requires that such systems be designed and developed in such a way that they can be effectively overseen by natural persons during their period of use. Oversight measures must enable interpretation of results, decision not to use them or interruption of the system.
