Deployer

Art. 3(4)Art. 26

Deployer means any natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body using an AI system under their own authority, except where the system is used in the course of a personal non-professional activity. The deployer is required to follow the provider's instructions for use and ensure adequate human oversight.
