Provider

Art. 3(3)Art. 16

Provider means any natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body that develops or has developed an AI system or general-purpose AI model and places it on the market or puts it into service under their own name or trademark, whether for payment or free of charge. The provider bears the primary responsibility for the system's conformity.
